Conventional:
Assuming that three color-versions are offered, production must be conducted in three parallel lanes starting with yarn dyeing. Especially for smaller lots, this calls for much item changes, a lot of manpower and results in a low productivity.

With Rainbow-technology:
By dyeing the garment, production remains uniform up to the undyed garment. This way, three times the quantity can be processed in every production step, which leads to substantial savings. Instead of keeping finished goods on inventory, the undyed but otherwise finished garments are stored. An inventory of finished goods is not necessary.

And now to the major advantage of the Rainbow technology:
Today, the lead-time for a specific color version of a woven shirt is about 16 weeks. Thanks to the Rainbow technology, this period can be reduced to three weeks!!!
