![]() With the example of a woven fabric, the Rainbow-technology can be explained: In the woven fabric, Rainbow yarns replace dyed yarns. Then the fabric, or even better the garment, is dyed in the desired color. On this picture you can see that the Rainbow-yarn dyes very dark while the untreated cotton yarn picks up just little color. This allows for the production of a color-woven fabric without the necessity of having to determine its color in weaving already. This results in a significantly increased flexibility, which has advantages for the entire textile chain. Depending on the article, production becomes much more flexible and cost efficient. ![]() Dyeing of Heather items: The same technology is used to produce heather-yarns. Treated and untreated cotton fibers are mixed and spun to a yarn. If fabrics or garments made from this yarn are dyed, the heather effect becomes visible in the desired color. |
